The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) achieved a milestone overnight with the setting of the final guideway segments along Farrington Highway.

More than 3200 precast segments now form the elevated guideway atop 283 columns between east Kapolei and Waipahu.

The truss, or overhead guideway equipment, used to install the segments will be removed in the coming weeks and sent to help with the installation of the segments along the Kamehameha Highway guideway section of the project.

The guideway segments are cast at the project’s precast yard in Kapolei.
