Sen. Gabbard visited Makakilo Elementary School on Dec. 11 to observe students involved in a national K-12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) educational program, called, “Project Lead the Way,” where they engage in hands-on, project-oriented activities to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
