On December 8th, community members gathered at Kamokila District park to learn about the Makaiwa Hills development project. Steve Kelly of Campbell Estates presented updates and answered questions. The Makaiwa Hills project received permits, but requires $200 million for infrastructure before beginning construction. Mr. Kelly also noted that currently Campbell Estates does not have a buyer/developer for Makaiwa Hills. The project remains dormant.
