There’s a new place where families can have fun in West Oahu.

A grand opening and blessing was held Monday for a new city park near Kapolei High School. Developer D.R. Horton Hawaii built the Mehana Neighborhood Park as a gift to the city.

It’s about four acres and comes with a basketball court, restrooms, and a parking lot.
