Sen. Gabbard, along with many others, including Congresswoman Gabbard, journeyed to Hilo for the memorial service celebrating the life of Sen. Kahele on Feb. 8 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. The Senator had a nice moment with Gil’s grandson, Makai Okalani Snyder.
